The world faces a triple planetary crisis that exacerbates environmental injustice, disproportionately affecting vulnerable communities. The UN has recognized the right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment as a fundamental human right, empowering individuals to hold governments and polluters accountable. On this board, you will find a non-exhaustive list of examples of what UNDP sees, tests, and learns about supporting people-centred, effective justice and human rights institutions as key agents of enforcement and implementation of environmental justice.
