ColesHill Traditional Slag Stove is a climate smart product that is focused on a reduction of cuing down of trees (deforestation) by using Copper Slag (a by-product of copper extraction by smelting) as the heat source, thereby contributing to climate action and an action to land pollution caused by industrial wastes. The innovator is a beneficiary of the Experimentation program with support of USD10,000 for material procurement, techncial support from the Copperbelt Univiersity and training in business development.
