About the Challenge:

In Iraq, many people face many difficulties in obtaining high-quality education for several reasons, including: (1) High costs of tuition fees, transportation, and living costs. (2)There are no universities and institutes in most villages and cities. (3) People with disabilities cannot go to education centers. (4) Many women are prevented from going to education centers because of customs and traditions. (5) Many young people are deprived of education because of the need to work. (6) The displaced and refugees in the camps are not able to go to the education centers. (7) Poor quality of education in most universities and institutes. (8) Many graduates face difficulties in gaining hands-on experience. (9) There are no courses (in Iraq and in most Arabic countries) related to Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Web development. All these reasons result in more unemployment, deteriorating living conditions, poverty, ignorance, and deprivation of education.

Goals of Code Khana Platform:

Code Khana platform seeks to achieve the following GOALS: (1) Providing free, and high-quality education (%100 online) in Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Web development. (2) Qualifying Youth for the labor market to get jobs in the top companies. (3) Supporting the private sector by helping young people build their own projects and encouraging them to build tech companies, applications, and smart systems.
