Bangla Bari is in pursuit of beautiful and sustainable architectural solutions for rural Bangladesh. It is an award winning architectural firm, practicing sustainable architecture in rural Bangladesh. It builds houses, schools or clinics with earth, jute and bamboo. It has two major focus - firstly, to introduce better solution for the water and sanitation problem that affects 30% of rural Bangladesh, and secondly, to design, construct and train for functional, strong houses in rural Bangladesh. It also works as a third party construction partner for Bangladesh government, NGOs or international organizations including UNDP, JICS, JICA and UN-HABITAT. It has been featured in international media such as Al Jazeera, Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) and Nikkei Japan.
