What are the top key insights you generated about your learning challenge during this Action Learning Plan? (Please list a maximum of 5 key insights)

1) Ancient architecture often includes very interesting water storage mechanisms that need to be revitalized. 2) Mosques present a major opportunity for water management and reuse, thanks to their ablutions rooms and the wells they can contain. 3) Mosques and religious leaders can play an important role in raising awareness of the water issue 4) Geophysics is a great tool for exploring historic sites without damage 5) The multitude of players involved in the management of historic places of worship prevents them from playing a more important role in social life

Can you provide more detail on your handover process?

The process is in progress. The geophysical survey will be done in a few days and the choice of the best way to reuse the mosque's groundwater will be made in consultation with the municipality and the residents of the neighborhood. A surrounding garden will be converted into an island of freshness

Relating to your types of data, why did you chose these? What gaps in available data were these addressing?

In this special case related to the Great Mosque, we found many sources of Data but not updated or were been developed for several years. Direct Gathering of Data and direct immersion and observation were more helpful than searching in old data sources

Why was it necessary to apply the above innovation method on your frontier challenge? How did these help you to unpack the system?

Engineering intervened to prove the existence of a basement containing a hydraulic storage system using a geophysical scanner. Behavioral insights are necessary in order to collectively determine, with the residents of the neighborhood, the municipality, the mosque administration and the heritage institute, the best use of these waters.
